prospect of a diminished lifestyle and reduced quality of life:
about 57,000 more people in the Shire (about
46% increase)
about 20,000 more cars in the Shire
even more traffic grid-locking our roads
your children walking to school amidst even
heavier traffic and exhaust emissions
thousands more people trying to get in and
out of the Redland Bay area each day
disappearing koalas and other wildlife
a sea of rooftops from Boundary Rd to the
Sirromet Winery
escalating pressure on finite water resources.

tell the Minister how you feel about the future
we would face under Mayor Seccombe’s Draft Redlands Planning Scheme
ask the Minister to withdraw her support of
any Redlands Planning Scheme that promotes an extension of the urban footprint
in the Redlands.
